Catalogue of Human Features by Majnouna Catalogue of Human Features by Majnouna
Get all of my human anatomy tutorials in one convenient book or e-book!

This isn't meant to stand on its own: it is an addendum to my Guides to Human Types:
Part 1: [link]
Part 2: [link]
Part 3: [link]

Full tutorial list: [link]

While working on part 2, which deals with Caucasians and therefore with a much bigger variety of facial features, I found myself forced to make these charts for myself. I turned them into an addendum when I realized that much of the information in the Guide felt incomplete as long as I didn't expand on it – an expansion for which there was no room within the guide itself. So this is a reference for the reference as far as facial features and colors are concerned.

WARNING: Please do NOT tell me "you forgot this or that color". This is not the point. I'm not making a complete list of all the possible color combinations for hair and eyes. These are diagrams explaining the occurrence and distribution of the basic hues in the context of the guide mentioned above. Understand that or you will be :fork:ed.

Ooooh... Lovely~

I seeked so long for something like this~
You dont even find a list of all the types in Medical books~

(Unless you go for Anthropologic works which contain WAAAAY too much blabla. This is exactly what I seeked without too much text around it but still being understandable without going into years of Anthropologic studies~)

Very cool.  The skin tones are especially helpful to me, as I've been having trouble choosing the right descriptive words without having something to look at

what eyes color is it considered if you have eyes that start out a warm brown around the pupil then turns green and has a blue ring outlining the eye? I've been going with my eyes are hazel, but i'd like another persons input too.

Hazel, the blue ring is just one of those random things.

Thank you so much for making your book available! Being self taught, about the only way to learn is through books and videos - and the quality of each is not always great (which sometimes takes a while to figure out!)!
Your book covers a lot - and is written with great attention to detail - the sort that moves you passed telling people you are  "folk artist".....sigh!
I am off to practice, practice, practice - and who knows - I might even have something to post one of these days.
Thanks again!

hey, the use of "saggy" in the breast shape part rubs me wrong a bit, given the connotation the word has when discussing breasts. just "hanging" would have been better, i think. this is from 2006 so i don't really expect you to change it or anything, but just for any future tutorials you might do having to do with breasts.

zzwriter - trust me - after nursing a few babies and 4 or 5 decades of gravity - "SAGGY" is just an accurate observation of what happens to young, perky breasts - not an insulting remark.
I wish it wasn't so - but it is just one of many surprising things that happen when your feel like you are still 25 (mentally) but the mirror tells a different story....... and all you do is laugh - and carry on!
