Drawing the Horse by Majnouna Drawing the Horse by Majnouna
IMPORTANT: This tutorial really really needs revising as there's a lot that's just not right with it. I'm not taking it down because I don't know how much time I need to redo it, but please take it with a grain of salt in the meanwhile.
The colors and patterns section has already been completed and now has its own (BIG) deviation:

I was wondering do Horse legs show in the back when in frontal view because I have seen horses with that

Great tutorial. My only issue is the lack of the (domestic) Mongolian horse.

Awesome tutorial! Just one ting I'd like to point out, the akhal-teke is not a Russian breed (though they are quite common in Russia, and a certain Russian general helped breeding the horse), it's from Turkmenistan.

Thanks for the correction, I found this out when I started researching more in-depth, and the revised tutorial will be much more accurate regarding the horse breeds.

Thanks for posting this info on the horse movement. A detailed tutorial on capturing horse gaits (if that's the right word?) would be great too! I find that harder than other animals. I think it's due to complexity of horse's lower leg & the fact that horses have different gaits
