Don't forget to vote for Malaak on Top Web Comics

All this traveling is bad for productivity, but at least I got to finish a couple of pages in-between!! The next will follow shortly...

It's a Vermicious K'nid! :ohnoes:

Things are getting more complicated. I love the eeriness of those dreamworld panels.

Oh! In the first panel, are those pendants the 'Evil Eye' or something, that is meant to fend of evil and protect whoever has them? I saw something just like them in a Tibetan store today, but I can't exactly remember what they're for and called!

Yes they're talismans against the evil eye, which is envy, jealousy and the like. They're worn specifically to prevent misfortune brought about by someone envious or covetous. I'm surprised you saw them in a Tibetan store – they have nothing to do with Tibet, so maybe they had them just as an import. They're called ayn ("eye", or watchful eye) and originally they're from Egypt's Eye of Horus, and became eye beads on our shores :)

Yes! I knew it! Thank you!
They probably were just imports, actually. It's mostly a Tibetan store, but I'm pretty sure it's also an imports store as well. I don't know! :la:
