Don't look at me like that, this hurts me more than you! I'm pleased the pace is picking up, however. The next 2 pages are already penciled.

A note about the "hidden ones" (red and orange trailing thingies): these were drawn freehand on paper with a brush pen, to obtain this texture. They were then imported into Photoshop, separated from the background and filled.

Oh god that's terrible. I liked him too. :(

Malaak would be awesome if it went Lovecraftian. Or Lebano-Lovecraftian, what have you. Those are unspeakable horrors from elsewhere, after all.

Aww, poor guy. I liked him. I hope he turns out okay!!

I have one small, nitpicky question that doesn't really mean anything to the plot. Is Barko lying face up or face down in the last panel? From the look of his hands and the position of his legs and feet I think face up, but his body and that little bit of hair around his head kind of suggest face down...
