Another favorite, because the ingredients and seasoning can be varied based on what's in your fridge or what you feel like. I would just advise against using anything too overwhelming – for instance a chopped onion might be too much, unless it's a small white or spring onion chopped very finely.

Oh, and I mentioned sorting the lentils because the way we buy them here, it's necessary to do this. It may not be the case in other places. Doesn't hurt to check though!

did this yesterday and it was delicious!
I also tried it with yogurt with curry skipped the tomato and added some peeled cucumber and it tasted fantastic and very refreshing too!

I am such a lazy person to cook after work, but majnouna these are so-so amazing!Thank you!

J'adore la salade de lentilles! Ma mère la fait avec en plus des pois chiches et de l'oignon rouge finement coupé c'est très bon aussi ^^

Need to try this one. c: If I may ask, is there a big difference between table and sea salt? What kind of difference does it make in this recipe? Just curious. :XD:

Table salt has been processed and loses much of the nutrients in salt in the process (apparently that's possible!) Sea salt is rougher, saltier and has good stuff like iodine in it. That's off the top of my head. Taste-wise it won't make too much difference (though sea salt should be used in a slightly lesser quantity) and I use table salt if I'm out of sea salt, but it's better for your system :)
