Quick food: Smoked salmon spaghetti by Majnouna Quick food: Smoked salmon spaghetti by Majnouna
:pointl: Check out the book!

A friend recently passed on to me a pack of smoked salmon, and that had to be eaten almost as soon as defrosted, so I had to figure out something quick! This is modified from a recipe I found, and it's seriously tasty!

I'm working on my cooking, and this seems like an easy enough dish for me to try. I'm good with pasta, so this should be a simple step up from plain spaghetti. I hope I do alright! Thank you for posting these! I have trouble with understanding recipes sometimes, but everything here is  made so abundantly clear.

Good to hear! I also have trouble with recipes that are just text, I find myself reading them 50 times to make sure I'm not overlooking anything. I'm sure you'll enjoy this recipe, it can't really go wrong!

Pasta cooking water means the water you cooked the pasta in :|
You can use some other herb or omit parsley, but if you don't have lemon or want to go get some, make something else.

Made this for dinner tonight and it turned out tasting amazing! When cooked together the garlic, onion, and lemon give the recipe a bitter side but the pasta and salmon make it sweet enough to be edible. Over all, I would highly recommend this.

If they were bitter, you might have cooked the garlic and onion on too high a heat, they're not supposed to be! Try medium heat next time and don't let the garlic brown :)

Ok. Thanks for the tip. Although i'm pritty shure I added to much lemon juice. It had more of a lemmon bitter taste. Not a strong onion taste.

Lemons are not bitter o_O Do you mean sour? Or are you using unripe lemons??

Not sure if anyone has asked this yet, but what do you mean with "2T olive oil"?
I know what olive oil is, but what is "2T"

Other than that, i think this looks like an awesome recipie. I'll need to try it sometime :)

Oh man. I love salmon (I'm terrified of raw meat but I love salmon so much that I'll eat it with a bit of soy sauce or ginger)! I really love smoked salmon, too! And pasta! I'll definitely give this a try tomorrow.

Tasty!
Very similar to the recipe we use at home, only we cook the salmon in the sauce before adding the pasta.
