روح is the spirit or soul (they're the same word in Arabic). Tradition calls it the "second chamber of the heart", and its color is red.
An image of this design came to me out of nowhere one day... At the time it felt like it couldn't work, but I worked it out in the end. It reminds me of this quote I've long loved:
