It's February 29 and I'm painting this rare day red by finally releasing the ultimate edition of Driving in Lebanon!
Instead of publishing vol. 2 separately, I revised vol. 1 and expanded it with all the strips that woud have gone in the second: a total of 55 gags over 308 pages. One major change is that each gag is labelled with the place where I observed it (though many were observed in several places.) To make the most of the e-book format, every frame has been checked to achieve a quasi-animated effect as you flip the pages on your reading device. The popular Arabic treatment is still included: lock your device's screen rotation and flip it over to read in Arabic! Looks great both on iPad and iPhone (and the like.)
Get it here: bit.ly/lebdriving !
I would like to publish it as a hardcover book as well, but I've just moved house and simply don't have the funds right now. If there is enough interest, I'll start a Kickstarter campaign for it. If you'd contribute to such a campaign (for printed books and other rewards) drop me a note, it'll give me an idea of interest and I can inform you of it directly.
I hope you find it as funny to read as I found it to make!
